Creating a website that accurately represents this venerable company’s closely guarded branding + exacting design standards was an exercise in minimalism.
The Challenge: Tiffany & Co needed to update the look and feel of their existing e-commerce site. Our objective was to create an online space that accurately represented this venerable company’s closely guarded branding and exacting design standards. These objectives had the added challenge of implementing a solid User Interface using the existing Information Architecture, check-out path and Content Management System.
The Solution: We translated existing branding and marketing to the web using a solid, modular grid structure, abundant use of negative space, sumptuous photography, transparent design, and meticulously rendered typography. The resulting page layouts create a sparse, orderly and nearly monochromatic environment in which Tiffany’s singular jewelry becomes the primary focus.
