c23 partnered with Nature Publishing Group, publishers of the preeminent scientific journal Nature to build Scitable.com—a global, social, dynamic online experience providing students + educators with a wealth of online academic resources.
Nature Publication Group, publisher of Nature magazine, expands its position as the scientific community’s preeminent science journal by bringing social networking and academic resources together in one online space. NPG’s subsidiary, Nature Education, asked c23 to bring Design + Information Architecture expertise to this exciting, large-scale initiative.
The result, Scitable.com, is a global, social, dynamic online experience aimed at providing students and educators with a wealth of scientific resources. Users can browse hundreds of scientific articles; watch/listen to audio and video clips; exchange ideas with other members by joining online study groups; contribute content; and embark on Learning Paths – guided study programs that help students master specific concepts or ideas.
